The JSS-16 bench top fret saw is the perfect machine for anyone looking to start scrolling or upgrade their machine with its 90 watt motor the speed can be varied between 400-1,600/min able to cut a wide Varity of materials not only timber but plastics and metals can be cut with ease ( using the correct blade )

The saw has two independent arms providing the saw with a perfect up and down motion for a far greater quality of cut as with all saws this one creates dust so a 35mm dust port has been added that can have a standard vacuum attached to it or better still fitted with a reducer to the main work shop extraction system also featuring an integrated blower to help keep the cut area clean so you can precisely see where you are cutting to create some outstanding and intricate designs

The table on this saw is made from a cast aluminium and is then machine to guarantee the table is flat and true not only can cuts be made at 90 degrees but the table will tilt to 45 degrees so mitred cuts and be performed to give another level to your scrolling projects, the saw has a large 16” capacity from the blade to the back arm allowing for large projects to be undertaken, as well having a 410mm x 254mm table to support your work

The blades are easily and effortlessly changed on the saw with the aid of the tensioning lever that replaced the blade with a simple flick of the lever and re tensions it again by pressing the leaver down , the tension can be adjusted buy rotating the lever when in the open position allowing you to set the preferred blade tension , not only can the saw take standard pin ended blades but you also have the option to take pin less blade perfect for the range of 360 degree cutting spiral blade available now

The saw is made from cast parts and weights in 15kg to keep the vibrations from the cutting action down
